Additive manufacturing (3D printing) is a revolutionary technology with great potential. In the field of civil engineering, most people are familiar with concrete or steel 3D printing which aim to build structures faster and cheaper. However, 3D printing has even more potential
in the field of construction materials. By combining knowledge of structural mechanics and construction materials, we could be able to manufacture materials which cannot be made using traditional techniques.
