The U-dispuut has a group of active members who are also a close group of friends. We would like to provide the possibility for the members to meet more often and see projects they usually wouldn’t get the chance to see. With our activities the committee tries to reach new students who would like to become a member. Besides that I think it’s important to involve the new members more, in order to expand the group of friends."
Going by definition, my major goal is to correspond, organize and keep track of the “actions” in the committee. As a student who wishes to expand her horizon, I would like to initiate opportunities for the U-Members who share similar thoughts, by arranging interesting, appreciative and fun activities. I am eagerly awaiting all the learning and fun in store."
The action committee’s goal is to organize activities that will not only teach the participants many things related to their career but they will also promote the bonding of the members. As a treasurer of the committee, my responsibility is to make sure that the money will be distributed evenly between the various fun and educational activities."
The greatest thing about the U-dispuut is that you get to know a lot of people from both Structural Engineering and Building Engineering. What you need to meet other U-dispuut members is, of course, activities! The Action Committee organizes both formal activities, like excursions or lunch lectures, and informal like a Christmas dinner or a BBQ. I am responsible for the promotion of all activities."
Using the insights acquired by participating in last year’s Action Committee, I will help and guide the current committee where needed. Furthermore as one of the board members, it is my responsibility to update the association’s board on the process of the committee, and update the committee with all ongoing activities. I’m really happy to have such an enthusiastic committee, and I am sure that we will have a lot of interesting, fun and U-worthy activities this year (with a slightly feminine touch)!"
