SUMMARY:Lunch Lecture - ABT
DESCRIPTION:Lunch Lecture - ABT ACTION brings U another lunch lecture! 🥪
This time\, the Lunch Lecture will be presented by ABT 🏢 Step into th
e fascinating world of timber construction with ABT’s lecture on “Cha
llenging the Structural Boundaries of the Existing Courthouse in The Hague
” While archival information is incomplete and occasionally contradictor
y\, we managed to add a heavy roof garden\, add a 4-storey extension to th
e existing pile foundation and make openings in stability cores and transf
er structures. Without extensive calculations\, knowledge of historic buil
ding and engineering practices and a fair amount of courage to push the st
ructural boundary\, we wouldn't have been able to improve the Palace of Ju
stice and make it suitable again for 50 years of justice. 📅: Wednesday
  18th November\, 2026 📍: Lecture Hall F 🕔: 12:45 – 13:30 Just bri
ng Ur presence to the lunch lecture and get a FREE LUNCH🥪! Once U've si
 gned up\, we expect U to be present. See U there! ~ Action | U-BASE 🔴
