Description

Junior Structural Engineer

Have you recently completed a university (MSc) degree in Construction or Civil Engineering? Do you want to immediately apply your knowledge to challenging and diverse projects? With us, you will work on major infrastructure projects as well as specialized inner-city assignments — in both steel and concrete, from existing structures to new builds. You will learn the profession from highly skilled engineers and experienced specialists, while having plenty of room to contribute your own ideas and insights.

Ready to make an immediate impact with your ambition and fresh perspective? Then this versatile entry-level position within our Structural Engineering team is perfect for you.

Do you enjoy a real challenge?

Great! All the theoretical knowledge you gained at university will be put to use right away in a wide range of projects. You will start by (re)calculating relatively simple structures for both existing and new construction projects. As you grow, you will work on increasingly complex structures that truly challenge your analytical skills.

Specifically:

  • You calculate (parts of) new concrete and steel structures and perform reassessments of existing structures.

  • As a full team member, you participate in project teams and collaborate with senior structural engineers to develop suitable design solutions.

  • You support the team in answering structural engineering questions and take part in technical meetings with clients.

  • You actively contribute to internal structural engineering meetings where we exchange knowledge and lessons learned from projects.

  • With your fresh perspective, you review and improve our calculation processes, contributing directly to the development of the Structural Engineering team.

You’ll feel at home here

We are a consultancy and engineering firm with a clear mission, practical vision, and ambitious strategy. We set high standards — the real excitement begins when projects and challenges become complex. Our clients are mainly government authorities (both national and local) and large contractors.

You will immediately feel welcome in our open and informal culture. We walk into each other’s offices without knocking, and our director knows the name of your pet — and your partner. With around 80 colleagues, we are large enough to deliver high-profile projects while still maintaining close personal connections. For us, collaboration and job satisfaction go hand in hand.

We pay close attention to your development. Your mentor, team leader, and colleagues provide personal attention and intensive guidance. We look at who you are, what your ambitions are, and how we can help you achieve them. Your career path is therefore tailored to your wishes and talents.

We are committed to sustainability — in circular and safe solutions, care for the environment, collaboration with clients, and our relationships with colleagues. We work based on connection and trust, giving you plenty of space for your own ideas and input.

Together, we work on civil engineering challenges and integrated projects that improve, enhance safety, and increase accessibility in our living environment — now and in the future. Will you build with us?
