Hello all!
I am Urvi (pronounced as Oorvee), and I am the Education Commissioner for the Board 12 of U-BASE. I am from the beautiful valley city of Dehradun in India. After completing my Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, I decided to pursue a master's degree and chose the Structural Engineering track in the MSc Civil Engineering program at TU Delft.
Last year, I was associated with U-BASE as part of the Media Committee. I like taking fun photos, and having the camera in hand was also a great conversation starter during events! This year, along with Media, I will also be a part of the Education Committee. Together we organise fun events where students get to know the research being undertaken in CEG, take lab tours, and review sessions for courses where one can talk about what they did and didn't like about a course. All in all, the education committee is there for you - so that you can make the most out of your program and can design it in a way that works best for you.
Along with my fellow board members, I am super excited to welcome new members to the community, and I hope that you find your tribe at U-BASE <3
